Welcome to The Game of Chance!
It is all just a blur… It is all just a blur… New York City; A city which is said to never sleep; home of the New York Yankees, The Statue of Liberty, Ground Zero, MTV, and so much more; a city where ghetto is the over all population; where rap is the coolest thing to listen to on the streets, where gangsters- Gangsters – The deadliest breed of man, cross one and you cross the lot. Underground clubs, celebrity’s paradise; where the roads are numbered because naming them was too much work, a complex city where the most subtle people will walk up and ask, “wanna buy a watch”. Is this all just stereo typed of New York? Or- is it all true? It is all just a blur… It is all just a blur… What does Harry Potter, Fairy Tales like Cinderella and Snow White, Lord of the Rings, Spiderman, X-Men, Batman, Pirates of the Caribbean, Dracula and Eragon all have in common? Their characters are vanishing and emerging on the streets of New York City; scared, confused, and horrified by what they see. Even worse- what is the Population of New York to think? A boy with a lightning scar walking down the street in robes smiling at you? A girl dressed in a big blue dress with glass slippers asking for directions to her castle? Short people running around with hairy feet asking where Frodo is? A guy in a spider suit flying from one building to another? A guy dressed in tight leather with claws trying to bum off a drink? A guy dressed in all black coming down the road…? Jack Sparrow running around frantically looking for rum?! A dragon flying over head? How will you react? It is all just a blur… It is all just a blur… The only problem with all of this… where are the villains? Joker, Magneto, Voldemort, Sauron, The Evil Step Sisters, The Wicked Witch, Cutler Beckett, Dracula himself, and Galbatorix, all in the city… can they be stopped from taking over? Chaos is taking over New York City, new friendships made, new enemies made, where will the common New Yorker stand? It is all just a blur… It is all just a blue… The common New York City high school, Nothing really goes on there, just your average fight of fists, pot smuggling, cocaine smuggling, nothing new to anyone there, until strange people begin to form. Cliques pull a part, segregation of the whites and blacks form. Prejudice. No one wants anything to do with anyone else, suddenly it becomes a free for all, all friendships broken, Hell is occurring, some kids have been acting like zombies, and others- have been putting their lives on the line… for no reason. It is all just a blur… It is all just a blur… Pick your side. Choose your friends wisely, choose your enemies with care, and remember, this is a game of chance. The possibility of death is great but the possibility of seeing things you’ve never seen before, is greater. Get ready, because as soon as you step inside, you are playing the game of chance.
